Terra Alpha Welcomes Emily Hiltz and Marissa Oliveri to the Team

This week at Terra Alpha we are delighted to welcome two new members to the team!

Our first addition is Emily Hiltz, who will be involved in all aspects of the firm’s business development and investor relations as the Manager of Business Development. She will be responsible for maintaining existing and prospective client relationships, as well as managing the organization and content of Terra Alpha materials and communications.

Prior to Terra Alpha, Emily was an Investment & Senior Investor Relations Associate at Cartica Management, an investment boutique focused on emerging markets. Prior to Cartica, Emily worked in marketing at Waves for Water, a nonprofit organization focused on providing clean water to communities in need around the world. When not in the office, Emily enjoys golfing, traveling, and cooking.

Emily holds an MBA with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame, where she graduated with honors, and a BA in Business from Michigan State University. She also studied international business at Novancia Business School in Paris, France and at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in Santiago, Chile.

On joining Terra Alpha, Emily says, “I am very excited to join the Terra Alpha team and work with an incredibly smart, authentic and motivated group of people. Terra Alpha’s purpose-driven mission is inspiring, and I look forward to continuing my investment career in an industry aligned with my interests and passion for the environment and conservation.”

Our second addition to the Terra Alpha team is Marissa Oliveri as a Research Analyst. She will be responsible for research coverage of and corporate engagement within several industries in the Health Care and Consumer Discretionary sectors.

Marissa joins Terra Alpha after completing an extended Private Equity Analyst internship at Wind Point Partners. She graduated from Boston College in May 2022 with a degree in Economics and a minor in Leadership and Management. At Boston College, Marissa was actively involved with women’s mentorship programs and retreats which encouraged reflection, open dialogue, and self-discovery. When not in the office, Marissa can be found reading or exploring museums. She also enjoys weightlifting, nutrition, and watching almost every sport, especially the New England Patriots.

As Marissa begins her time with the firm, she says, “From the very start of this process, I could feel the incredible atmosphere at Terra Alpha. I am proud to be a part of the Terra Alpha family, and I am excited for what we can achieve.”

We are very pleased to have Emily and Marissa joining the Terra Alpha team. Each brings differentiated perspectives and great passion to our work.
